The Investor Protection Trust offers for free download several Investor Education and Protection Booklets as well as an investor education and protection teaching guide (The Basics of Saving and Investing: Investor Education 2020).


Stock Ideas

Where do you look? Here are some suggestions:

Brian Lewis' ideas for finding stocks to study (several versions).

ICLUBCentrals' Roster of Quality Companies (a subscription service). About 100 stocks each month that will look good in SSG sections 1 and 2 (good historical quality). Future quality and valuation projections are up to you. A free sample is shown.

Investor Advisory Service (IAS) also by ICLUBCentral (another subscription service). The right side menu offers a free sample download for your inspection (169 kb). Each month this service presents an overview of 80 stocks selected by an team of veteran analysts utilizing BetterInvesting philosophy and methodology. Three new stocks are presented each month. Each presented stock has a fully completed SSG and company overview. Each month there is also an overview of the economy and a through update of the 80 followed stocks.

bivio Club Index lists the most widely held stocks by clubs which use bivio's accounting services. bivio's home page lists the top holdings and the percentage of bivio's clubs which hold them.

Lowell Herr 's "Creme List" and "Sour List."

The BetterInvesting 100 or 200 with are the most widely held stocks by BI investing clubs. Presence on the list is no indication that the current quality or price is attractive. Only you and your judgment can determine that.
