Portfolio Tracking is simply following the price changes and dividends you receive form the stocks you purchase. You're asking "How much have I Made?" You can use NAIC's Portfolio Record Keeper, (PRK) Quicken, or Microsoft Money for this type of purpose. Comment: Also, PRK is much more than that. There ARE portfolio management tools in PRK: tax planning decisions, asset allocation and rebalancing, diversification, multiple portfolio mgmt., etc. This should all be worked into the discussion I would think, in addition to the 'tracking' which is part, but only a part, of what PRK offers. Also, no mention of the sales functions, transfer, spinoffs, etc. 'tracking' tools in the program... PRK is strongly recommended. It is well supported by Peter and Matt Willms. You can download a demo copy of their software by clicking here. Matt & Peter also have several PowerPoints instructing beginners in PRK's setup and use. They are available by clicking here. Matt held a recent seminar on "Quick Setup for PRK" at the NAIC CompuServe Forum. You can visit the forum by clicking here. Comment on this Page Last Modified 2005-04-28 |
